Vernacular Culture

This story about Anthony Jones who has customised a VW Camper in a 'Mod' style has been circulating the local press for some time, but has since gone international with this press cutting from Vancouver. Interesting how circuits of cultural capital transcend both time and space to produce particular geographies and flows of creativity.

Anthony Jones, centre, a construction worker from Irlam, Manchester, was the winner of the The Who Magic Bus that was provided by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
