Cadishead in Space

This blogs presents the unfurling corporate history of Irlam and Cadishead. In a way it is a vague and amateurish homage to the film and book Robinson in Space (in which Irlam and Cadishead get a brief mention). The method is simple. Whilst acknowledging the towns' rich personal and sporting heritage, this blogs aims to provide commentary on the industrial development of Irlam and Cadishead's economic identity in a complex global world. Parker invests in CPM

I can't find much information on CPM, a meat packing company based on Ferrous Road. This story again reveals over-lapping geographies of production and ownership - extending from the East Midlands to the North West. The deal reported suggests Parker are aiming to generate economies of scope through the investment with CPM.
