A bit of a tenuous link to Irlam with this report on how an injured Irlam hedgehog was nursed back to health at a Manchester hedgehog sanctuary. Reminds me of Monty Python's news for Wombats sketch. However, another intertextual local press headline, dripping in 70s nostalgia. Remember that episode when Bungle snorted crack and took a strimmer to George and Zippy. What a mess! There was fluff and blood everywhere. End of my childhood at that precise moment.
